1. Written Examination:
   • This is an objective-type (OMR-based) offline exam of 3 hours duration.
   • The exam comprises a single paper with two parts:
     • Part A: Tamil Eligibility Test (SSLC Standard) – 100 questions, Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% (60 marks) in this part to be eligible for evaluation of Part B.
     • Part B:
       • General Studies (SSLC Standard) – 75 questions, 150 marks.
       • Aptitude & Mental Ability Test (SSLC Standard) – 25 questions, 50 marks.
   • The questions in Part A will be in Tamil only, while Part B will be in both Tamil and English.
   • There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
   • The total marks for the written examination are 300.
   • The merit list for selection will be based on the total marks obtained in both Part A and Part B.
2. Document Verification and Counselling:
   • During document verification, candidates need to produce original certificates to prove their age, educational qualification, community, and other relevant claims made in their application.
   • Following document verification, eligible candidates will be called for counselling.
   • In the counselling session, candidates will be allotted their posts, units, and departments based on their rank in the merit list and the availability of vacancies.
