- Written Examination:
- This is an objective-type (OMR-based) offline exam of 3 hours duration.
- The exam comprises a single paper with two parts:
- Part A: Tamil Eligibility Test (SSLC Standard) – 100 questions, Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% (60 marks) in this part to be eligible for evaluation of Part B.
- Part B:
- General Studies (SSLC Standard) – 75 questions, 150 marks.
- Aptitude & Mental Ability Test (SSLC Standard) – 25 questions, 50 marks.
- The questions in Part A will be in Tamil only, while Part B will be in both Tamil and English.
- There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- The total marks for the written examination are 300.
- The merit list for selection will be based on the total marks obtained in both Part A and Part B.
